Professor Jim Livesey is Established Professor of History at the University of Galway
Jim Livesey is Established Professor of History at the University of Galway. Jim did a BA in History and Philosophy and an MA in History at UCC. He undertook his PhD at Harvard, where he was later a visiting professor, and also held positions at Trinity College Dublin, University of Dundee and at the University of Sussex. Jim has been working on collective action problems over a series of projects and publications. Jim’s engagement with PACESETTERS contributes to his work on the comparative history of transitions and the role creative practice plays in defining new horizons for communicative action.
