Intermedia artist, art researcher, and lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.
Estera Gałuszka (b. 1994) is a visual artist working at the intersection of social economy, equality, and individual rights. Her practice explores the complexities of welfare systems, social norms, and stereotypes, repurposing them to restore personal agency and significance. She works across various media, with a strong focus on intermedia forms of expression. For the past five years, she has been a the co-Founder and co-organizer of KMWTW, an artist-run space and gallery based in Krakow.
She earned her BA in Painting from the Faculty of Art at the Pedagogical University of Krakow (under the supervision of Professor Małgorzata Wielek-Mandrela), and her MA from the Faculty of Intermedia at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Her master’s thesis was completed in the Transmedia Studio under the guidance of Dr. Mariusz Sołtysik.
