Martin Clancy is an Irish musician, researcher, and music-tech specialist whose work focuses on AI, ethics, and the future of creative practice. He is the founder of AI:OK, an international initiative developing ethical standards, trustmarks, and literacy tools for AI in the creative industries.
A former Billboard-charting artist and long-time manager of Jack Lukeman, Martin works across academia, policy, and industry. He is a Senior Research Fellow at DCU’s Insight Centre and a Public Policy Fellow at Trinity’s Long Room Hub.
His book, Artificial Intelligence and the Music Ecosystem, received wide international coverage — including the BBC, LA Times, New York Times, Wired, CNBC, TMZ, and the Irish Times — and is being released in an expanded new edition.
He regularly speaks internationally on AI and creativity, and continues to work across music, research, and education.
