Prof. Albert Lang holds a professorship for Technological Systems in Design and heads the programme Design & Computation between UdK and TU Berlin
Albert Lang studied medicine in Hannover/Pisa/Munich and opera directing at the Musikhochschule in Munich.
He is professor of Technological Systems in Design at Berlin University of the Arts as well as an Honoarprofessor for Dramaturgy and Scenic Space at TU Berlin. Albert Lang is the founder and head of the interdisciplinary research platform New Practice and the Master's programme Design and Computation, both based at Berlin University of the Arts and Berlin Technical University.
His research focuses on the intersection of design, technology and sustainability, as can be seen in projects such as Tangible Climate Futures, Inkuele, ClimateHood, DuraX and Raumlabore.
