Presentation of the Cultural Resilience Lab in Nowa Huta during the conference “Research in the cultural sector. (Co-)creation”
Joanna Kotlarz PhD, Marta Materska-Samek PhD, and Sylwia Wrona PhD will present the Cultural Resilience Lab in Nowa Huta and the paper “PACESETTERS - green transformation in the rhythm of culture” in the session “Cooperation – artists”. at the 4th Conference of “Research in the cultural sector. (Co-)creation”.
“Research in the Cultural Sector” is a cyclical, nationwide conference devoted to the issues of current research in the cultural sector. The aim of the session, taking place on the second day of the conference on November 29, 2024, during which the paper “PACESETTERS - green transformation in the rhythm of culture” will be presented, is to explore the relationship between climate change and culture and to identify the role that culture can play in the context of actions for sustainable development, promoting degrowth, implementing creative and organizational solutions enabling fair cooperation and artistic dialogue. (Co-)responsibility of culture is a slogan that encourages asking questions from different sides - about what needs to be improved in cultural management, but also what can be learned from culture.
