Rural and remote areas are crucial for green transition- not as a place of extortion, exploitation and consumption - rather as a frame by which we can develop practices and approaches to support navigation of complex transitions & the critical relationship between arts and culture, heritage and creativity in terms of their impact, value and quality -in a reimagined relation to the rural.

A cast of local civil servants, neighbours and creative practitioners accompanied by cross-discipline researchers - to work together on reframing needs beyond the ones we know. Working with examples from the creative case studies of emerging, existing projects.

09.30 - 11.00 Breakfast - as space for dialogue A conversation on the ethics of co-research. Conceptual yet practical impulses framing -how do we shape meaningful feedback loops?

Welcome by Mayor of Genalguacil to a conversation on why innovation is found where we least expect it. He is joined in this conversation by representatives from FAMP, NTNU, EU Rural PACT, Spanish Government, University of Cadiz, REDS, Diputacion de Malaga.
Open-Space with representatives from the PACESETTERS Consortium, trans-local networks, and as always in Genalguacil our neighbours.
