About PACESETTERS

Art and culture driving the climate transition
PACESETTERS carries out collaborative, artistic and practice-based research to keep pace with the transition. It tests innovative ideas to set the pace of the transition and assess strategies to push the pace of the transition.

From observation to co-research
Creative Case Studies analyse the resources, processes, products and services in the cultural and creative industries according to the challenges and opportunities of the climate transition
Real-World Laboratories

From co-research to co-ownership
Practical experiments are being carried out in three real-world laboratories: Genalguacil and neighbouring villages in the Valle del Genal, Andalusia, Spain; Galway and the International Arts Festival, Ireland; Nowa Huta and the C. K. Norwid Cultural Centre.
Transformation Frameworks

Evaluation and Support
The outcomes of the research informs the development of evaluation and support frameworks that indicate progress and key readiness criteria for the climate transition. They result in a model of a pre-accelerator tailor-made for the CCIs as well as cornerstones of a shared risk mitigation system.
